Planning Commission Meeting

Public Notice is hereby given that the Arkansas City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for the following:

REZONING

Consideration of the rezoning of a property from a P-Public Use District to an R-3 High Density Residential District the following described tract:

Blocks 19, 20 & 21 Sleeth Addition to Arkansas City

AND

A tract beginning 8 feet East of the Northeast Corner of said Block 21, thence East 112 feet, thence South 350 feet, thence West 112 feet, thence North to the Point of Beginning

AND

Vacated L Street, Vacated K Street & the Vacated alleys all adjacent to said blocks.

A public hearing will be held on the 10th day of October 2023 at 5:30 PM in the Conference Room at the Water Treatment Facility 400 W Madison Ave.  Members of the public are also welcome to join the meeting via GoToMeeting.  For information on how to access the meeting in that manner, please contact Josh White at 620-441-4420.

TEXT AMENDMENTS TO THE SUBDIVISION AND ZONING REGULATIONS

The public hearing will be held on the 10th day of October, 2023 at 5:30 P.M. in the Classroom at the Water Treatment Facility 400 W Madison Avenue.  Copies of the proposed amendments are available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Neighborhood Services Division at City Hall, 118 W. Central Avenue.  The amendments are also available at Zoning Amendments and Proposed Subdivision Amendments .
