Officers responded early Saturday to 608 S. Fifth St. for a report of an unknown suspect or suspects who had entered the residence while the occupants were asleep and stolen numerous items.
Later that morning, officers again were called to the 600 block of South Fifth Street. They contacted two juvenile males, aged 13 and 14.
A search of the 14-year-old’s room turned up evidence of the aggravated burglary and theft.
Evidence from another previously reported burglary and theft also was located, as were drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
