Lambert was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bond through Cowley County District Court in Arkansas City. He has posted bond and been released from custody.

Officers received a report about 3:55 p.m. May 17 regarding two suspicious individuals in the 1300 block of South Second Street. One of them was located in the 1000 block of South Summit Street.

During this initial contact, the suspect arrived at the location and began screaming at an officer.

Lambert was not compliant with instructions from the officer, who displayed a Taser in preparation for possible deployment.
