Arkansas City woman arrested Oct. 4 for endangering a child
Brittany Brown also arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia
ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. (Oct. 11, 2019) — The Arkansas City Police Department arrested an Arkansas City woman Oct. 4 for endangerment after serving a drug search warrant in south Arkansas City.
Brittany Ann Brown, 22, was arrested on suspicion of one misdemeanor count each of endangering a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
She was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail in Winfield in lieu of $3,000 bond through Cowley County District Court in Arkansas City.
Brown since has posted bond and been released from custody.
Police on Oct. 4 executed a search warrant for suspected drug activity at 716 S. Summit St. They contacted two occupants of the residence, along with their infant child.
During a search of the residence, numerous items of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found.
A defendant’s guilt or innocence is to be determined by a court of law.
